    Description

    National HRO Communications Receiver The photos are the best description I can offer. This equipment is untested, and sold “As-Is” for repair or restoration. What follows is some additional information for your reading pleasure. The unit spent its early life at a major market “O & O” (Owned and Operated) Network television station serving the Washington, D. C. market. Documentation found with the unit indicates it was officially decommissioned on April 24th 1974. From there, it spent its time with an avid radio amateur operator.  Only a single coil set was located when I took possession of the radio and that is included. Two original manuals are also included as shown. The unit appears complete and unmolested with the exception of a minor modification to the audio output terminals for CONELRAD alerts.
